Peace Ambassadors Society Congratulates the Lausanne Movement on the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization

November 21, 2024

The Peace Ambassadors Society is thrilled to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the Lausanne Movement on the occasion of the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization (L4). This gathering represents a pivotal moment in advancing the Movement’s fourfold vision: the gospel for every person, disciple-making churches for every people and place, Christ-like leaders for every church and sector, and kingdom impact in every sphere of society.
Our President, Mr. Ajmal Tahir from Lahore, Pakistan, a businessman who owns the only Christian printing press in the country, found the experience at the congress profoundly enriching. His printing press specializes in pranting Bibles and various Christian materials to serve the Christian community in Pakistan, using business as mission to support and uplifting Christian community. Guided by the ideas from The State of the Great Commission Report, The Seoul Statement, and The Collaborative Action Commitment, the discussions highlighted the importance of working together in response to the journey of Lausanne 4 congress. A key takeaway for us was the powerful reminder that persecution never kills the church. In our work in Pakistan, where persecution is a daily reality, this message resonates deeply. It reinforces our commitment to serve the Christian community in Pakistan with renewed vigor and faith.
We look forward to implementing these insights and collaborating further with the Lausanne Movement to support believers facing adversity. Together, we can embody Christ’s love and strengthen the church in every corner of the world.

Ajmal Tahir
