This year God enabled us to work on Christian Orphan Care Center at district Sheikphurea, Punjab – Pakistan.

Orphans are those innocent souls who suffer the most on the earth due to unavailability of proper parental support. Being the most suffering segment of the society, they need abundance of support to have their lives restored to normal. People coming forward to help these orphans may reduce the intensity of their peril and get the best reward in the hereafter. According to the United Nations, there are more than 4.6 million orphan children in Pakistan and the majority of this population is below the age of 17. As per consensus there are about 150,000 orphans who are Christian out of 4.5millions.  This significant portion of the population is suffering from social depravity that needs to be addressed on an urgent basis. Number of orphan care programs are being run by non-Christian organizations. They are only for non-Christian orphans. Majority of these programs are based on Islamic Zakat system and according to their Islamic faith that Zakat is not eligible for non-Muslim orphans. So there is no proper support for Christian orphans in this region. I want to add one thing more regarding non-Christian orphanage homes that they run on Islamic rules and regulations and it is difficult for Christian orphans to adjust themselves according to Islamic administration.

God provided us with beautiful premises for this great cause. There is capacity for 150 children but we planned that we will start from 25 orphans and step by step we move ahead.  Support this Orphan Care Program to ensure a brighter future for the orphans. This is the initial short draft for your guidance.
