Testimony:
Since my childhood it’s my dream to be in Pakistan Basketball team. I worked so hard for that and one day I was called for a camp for Pakistan team schedule to tour in India. I appeared in the trials and got selected in the team in 2005.its a great honour for me and my family for the colour which I will be awarded and for that reason I left my M.com studies and at the end all end up in nothing for which I felt so disappointed .
Miracles do happen and in 2016 an opportunity came across once again another door is being opened for Pakistan team Colour. I believe that is the right time that God has planned for me I am very thankful to God first and to the concerns who selected me in the team .All the hard work and efforts of PBS, PAS, PBF there combined efforts make that dream come true for community by touring abroad after very long period of time by the Grace of God.
Tour Experience:
It was a fantastic experience starting from day one
Enjoyed practice sessions/ Basketball trainings.
Learned a lot from Prayer sessions, morning devotions activities .
Over all its very meaningful tour in terms of sports and spiritual grooming .we enjoy the win and we learn from our mistakes and especially the sessions that was lead by mr irfan make huge impact on team members including me.He not only highlite the weak areas of our life but also taught us how to overcome on it and how you can handle your success by not getting carried away with the lavish thing and the prevailing circumstances around us in every walk of life. Few topics which touched me and impressed me a lot are
Making disciples through sports
Have faith in God
How to give and earn respect
Togetherness
Ready Set GO (training sessions on daily basis)
It is a unique and impressive way to convey a message of God, It gives you the direction towards your goal and also helps you to go in the direction which not helps you only but to the community as well for better tomorrow. We’re taught and trained very expertly and wisely by Mr Irfan. We got trained in Hotel, beach sites restaurant we wake up early at sunrise to offer prayers together. It was my first experience and I enjoyed a lot and it was easy for me to grasp information by using different tools, presentations and live examples due to the session remain alive.
And at the end I learned a lot and I commit few things on which I got trained and I will show case those things and plans to others.
I am very thankful to all the concerns especially to Mr Ajmal and Mr Irfan there efforts and hard work made things happened for the Christian community hats off to them all and also for Mr Butt and his son Akbar for overseas arrangement, guidance and hospitality.
